Starks Legal has been founded by Sam Rezai. Sam started out his career in 2008 at the corporate litigation and M&A department of Loyens & Loeff, a large and multidisciplinary EU law firm. Throughout the years, mindful of the arc of commerce tilting more and more to the internet, and strengthened with an array of California based online clients as the catapult, Sam built a strong, diverse and international network of clients and contacts in the realm of online commerce.
Diligently honing his skills and knowledge in both practice and academia, Sam’s experience and expertise in tackling the myriad of legal challenges faced by online entrepreneurs is second to none.
Sam’s practice focuses on both the legal crafting of your company’s websites as well as the corporate architecture behind it. He is keenly aware of the online ecosystem, from dealings with affiliates, networks and platforms to the liabilities towards consumers, regulators and the challenges posed by banking and acquiring.
Sam has studied Corporate and International Law at Erasmus University in the Netherlands. He is also a Phd Candidate at the University of Amsterdam (VU) researching online disclosures in digital commerce.
